Expertise:
Nick has been working one on one with athletes, regular gym goers, and novices throughout his college years to help people achieve their overall fitness goals. Nick is certified through National Strength and Conditioning Association as a personal trainer and also has extensive online experience training clients through the Athletic Truth Group, whose mission revolves around unlocking individuals athletic potential while simultaneously “bulletproofing” weak links in the body. As a former athlete, Nick knows that injury rehabilitation may start at a physical therapy clinic, but continuing the right gym routine is the best way to keep you from having to go back and possibly prevent the injury in the first place.

Approach:
Nick has been resistance training under coaches and mentors for the last 10 years, learning countless lessons as an athlete in the realm of bodybuilding, strength development, flexibility, and sports performance In his soccer career. Nick recognized the advantage his teammates demonstrated with gym experience versus the ones that trained only on the field, and these valuable lessons can be easily learned and applied through a few guided sessions.

More importantly, Nick believes in the power of progressive overload that can help all people discover newfound athleticism in their body, regardless of age. The key involves gradually developing the full range of motion in exercises surrounding generally tight and weak links in the body, and then progressively strengthening them at their weakest point. Mobility is the one of keys to longevity/injury prevention, and with a patient and consistent approach your body can finally move the way it was designed to function. Don’t let chronic pain in areas like the knees, back, and shoulders keep you out of the weight room for fear of making their problems worse. Take charge of your body and use resistance training as one of the best methods for eliminating this pain altogether!
