TREY SHARPE, BASKETBALL INSTRUCTOR

Trey obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh - Johnstown where he played men‘s basketball and was the captain. After graduation, he went on to play semi-pro for the Harrisburg Horizon. Finishing his career, he graduated with a master‘s degree in school counseling from Capella University.

Trey started his coaching career in 2011 with the Johnstown High School basketball team. He now works at Summit Academy where he has been a Life Skills teacher and counselor. He has served as a basketball coach for Summit in past years.

Trey believes in the power of teamwork and perseverance. He aims to instill these values in his players by encouraging them to support each other, learn from their mistakes, and keep pushing forward.

He wants to set an example of humility, empathy, and dedication that will inspire his athletes long after they have left his team. He hopes to continue motivating young athletes to achieve their goals both on and off the court.
