MJ ZIEGLER

MJ has been swimming for over 60 years, and has been a swim instructor for 16 years. She just started back instructing private lessons in December 2023 after taking a short break to care for her husband.

When MJ was a child, she attended swim lessons here at the Butler YMCA. She then joined the Y swim team. She also swam on the high school swim team, Butler Country Club, and the Butler Y Masters swim team.

MJ decided to continue her swimming adventure and become an instructor because she wants to teach children and adults how to swim and the importance of learning live-saving skills.

After completing her sessions, MJ hopes to see great joy from a child or an adult when accomplishing their goals.
