JAMIE KNAUFF, SOFTBALL & SWIM LESSONS

Jamie has a Bachelor‘s degree in sport management from Slippery Rock University and is now the Aquatics and Programs Director here at the Butler YMCA.

Jamie has been playing the sport of softball for over 30 years. Throughout her career, she has been team captain, a 4-year letter winner, and she played 2 years at BC3. She has a great passion and love for the game.

Along with softball, Jamie also teaches swim lessons. She learned to swim at the Y as an adult, so she could compete in triathlons. She now has over 10 years of swimming experience. She wants everyone to feel that the water is safe and that you can start at any age.

She believes that hard works pays off and that anything is possible if you set your mind to it. She hopes to instill this mindset in her athletes, along with helping them feel safe and confident.
